Hi, I’m JP — an actor, award-winning director, and passionate teacher. I’ve spent 26 years working in film and television, with recurring and guest roles on shows like Suits, NCIS, Queen of the South, and Freeridge. I trained at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, the Gately Poole Conservatory, and studied Stanislavsky, Chekhov, Meisner, and improv.

 

Just as importantly, I know how to connect with kids.

 

I currently work as a substitute teacher with LAUSD and coach youth baseball. In the past, I also served as a mentor through the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. I’m a certified personal trainer and yoga teacher, and I bring a calm, supportive energy to every class.

 

I’m also a published photographer — a skill that’s helped me tremendously when working with actors and guiding kids to feel comfortable, expressive, and confident in front of the camera.

 

Helping kids grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression is something I truly love.
